My wife and I visited last night 2-12-05 and were able to eat at the bar where we had a very pleasant experience with Trevor and Stacy the bartenders. We ordered the Valentine special which is priced at $80 per person. Our appetizers of shrimp and crab salad were very good. After our appetizers we both had casear salads. The salads were lacking in flavor and tasted bland and the same can be said for my garlic mashed potatoes which were pasty and watery with not much flavor. As part of the Valentine special you recieve a small lobster. My meal came with my lobster which was cold and no melted butter to dip it in. The kitchen forgot to cook one for my wife and it did not arrive until she was half way through her rib eye steak that she ordered medium and came medium well with over a half inch of blue cheese, which for us was to much. Along with our lobster being cold and late our butter was not melted and was cool as we dipped our lobster in it. Halfway through our meal my wife pulled a long black hair out of her mouth. It had fallen into the blue cheese on her steak when being prepared. Stacy and Trevor saw that our food delivery and our meal was poor and so she offered to comp our two alcohol drinks and she gave us a Ruth Chris Steak house special shot. Our best experience at your resteraunt was the people and not the steak of which we so excited to eat. WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND RUTH CHRIS STEAK HOUSE TO ANY OF FRIENDS OR FAMIILY, INTSTEAD WE WILL BUY THE STEAKS FROM COSTCO AND USE THE MONTREAL STEAK SEASONING FOR THOSE STEAKS ARE JUST AS GOOD.
